This wax will work but it's a little on the hard side and a little difficult to work with. There's a new supplier "Daltons" that makes a much softer wax that's easy to apply and rated one of the best by other crossbow shooters. I agree, but it's not easy to find... I finally found a phone number and called to place an order and am very happy with the Dalton's wax.
