Incredible crossbow for the cost. Super compact and accurate. I killed a deer the day after I received it. Direct heart shot. Black Bear had the best price and the shipping was fast.

I love my crossbow

After researching crossbows in my price range I decided on Carbon Express Covert SLS. My next task was to find the best price. I looked everywhere on the internet and Black Bear Sporting Goods beat all other. I ordered it on a Monday and received it that Wednesday, super fast.
Carbon Express Covert SLS is as good as advertised. It is fast and accurate, light-weight. I have two hunting buddies who have more expensive crowsbows ($1000 +) and Carbon Express Covert SLS shoots comparable to theirs.
The only thing I would recommend to anybody buying Carbon Express Covert SLS package is to buy a better quality blot than what included.
I LOVE MY CROSSBOW!!!!!!!

Great service, but Issues out of the box

I killed a deer first time out with this lightning fast compact crossbow, but when I got back to camp I noticed a limb had splintered after only 30 shots. Carbon Express paid shipping an replaced the limbs with some added limb support pieces, and thew bow works great. Overall, the pros are definitely speed, accuracy, and compact design. Also, the ergonomics of the design fit really well and comfortable. Eye relief on the scope is adjustable, but takes some getting used to, and the quiver system is exceptionally designed for multiple placement options. Performance is outstanding, and this bow is smoking fast- really fast- no seriously fast, but it is really heavy to carry in and out of the woods. If not for the weight and the splintered limb I would rate 5, but 4 is already generous considering a new product failed so quickly. Thank goodness for the quick turn around of customer service and repairs from CXpress.

Not too happy. I bought this as a present, it did not have any papers, instructions, warranty papers, or the rail lubricant and practice points.
