The Sig Sauer rail mounted laser is solidly constructed and works as advertised. I mounted the laser on my Sig P226. Sighting the laser in was simple; however, the adjustment screws are very sensitive and do not have click stops. The mounting screw did come loose after about 100 rounds so I used blue loctite to secure it. I would suggest using locktite when you first install the laser to eliminate the need to re-sight the laser. Battery life was about 3 hours and the batteries can be hard to find. I had to order some from Amazon. I am disappointed by two things. First the laser is not as bright as the crimson trace lasers. The law allows the laser output to be 5mW which is what CT uses. The SS laser is only 3mW. On a bright day I am unable to see the laser at 10 yards. Second, the laser is significantly off when I use the .22 cal. slide so I just leave it sighted for the .40 cal slide. Overall, I feel the laser is worth the money. Black Bear was excellent.

Mounted easily to gun, button on one side was sticky and did not always work correctly, seems to be getting better though.
