This is the greatest addition I could have installed on my boat trailer. My boat, 2004 Lund 1700 fisherman with a minnkota trolling motor mounted on the bow, loaded on a shorlander trailer was impossible to reach the winch and unhook or hook up (depenidng if I was loading or unloading) without having to crawl over the bow and down onto the trailer. With the step it is so simple to step over the edge and onto the trailer, unhook the winch hood and climb back into the boat. No need to have someone walk into the water or you having to tight rope over the bow to unhook. Great Product and very well made!!!!!!!!!!
