These are pretty good for the money, they seem to hold the bimini top on my boat up to 45 mph top speed of it (they are rated for 35). They are made from thin aluminum with plastic fittings. The adjustment knob digs into the aluminum pole, good if you would leave them at this position but not so good if you adjust them up and down (I do for fishing v.s. cruising). I would have paid double this price for stainless steel poles with stainless hardware, but still these are pretty good. I can see after about 3 or 4 years having to replace these due to the pole getting gnarled from the adjustment knobs or the plastic fittings breaking. If the knobs had some better way to interface with the pole, or if the pole had some thicker aluminum, this would be a better product.
