Fully machined from SS and through hardened. Free-spinning collar that turns if attacked by gripping tools without loosening lock. To install, replace one of the nuts holding the outboard motor on the transom of the boat with a McGard lock. Then tighten the lock with the special key tool provided. The easy to use key tool comes in many different patterns for maximum security.

Model 74036: Single Outboard Motor lock 1/2"x20" threads, designed for Mercury/Mariner Outboards - 40 HP and larger.

Model 74037: Single Outboard Motor lock 1/2"x1.25" threads, designed for Yamaha Outboard -50 HP and larger.
