Excellent Clarity, eye caps could be better February 18, 2014
Reviewer: Nick from San Diego, CA
These binocs have excellent clarity, which you would expect from Nikon.  The built in compass is awesome.  Made in China but quality still seems good in regard to fit in finish.  Only annoying thing is eye caps do not have leash/tether to the frame which makes them easy to lose.  The real annoying thing is the lenses on the other end do have tethers to the frame.  Why they chose to do it on one end and not the other is just stupid!

Nikon prostaff7/compass January 22, 2014
Reviewer: Len from Hampton, VA
While Steiners costing 3 times as much claim higher light transmission, I couldn't tell the difference in the real word.
A true value for the money.  One small critique: the compass doesn't work if you get off of level.  So if you need the bearing of a bird flying at you you're in trouble.
