These heated insoles work great and the remote makes them easy to turn off when you start walking so you feet don't heat up and start sweating. I am able to use these insoles with normal work socks in non-insulated snake boots down to 35 degrees. If it's cooler than 35 I add a pair of wool socks and have no problem with my feet getting cold. They are not as soft as your normal insoles but it is better than cutting a hunt short due to cold feet.

They work well. Don't make your feet warm but keep them from being cold. Only problem is the battery life is not as long as claimed.
