I recently purchased this Sierra regulator for my 1995 Johnson 150 after the stock unit melted down causing a minor fire.  The Sierra part was much cheaper than the hard to find oem Johnson part and installed easily with simply hand tools.  It comes with a replacement gasket, and one of the wires is eliminated to improve performance and the odds of failure. So far the regulator has performed flawlessly after a summer of frequent use.
