i found the side mount laser easy to install on my ruger lc-9. it took perhaps 5 min. adjustments were equally quick and simple. it adds minimal bulk to the pistol with no snags at draw. does take a split second to activate the sight, i've found it easiest to switch on while still in my pocket prior to fully withdrawing pistol. as a senior, i'm happy to let an adversary know i've come prepared and don't object to them departing the area with both of us still healthy.
