While practicing with my crossbow a fellow hunter noticed how unsteady my cheaper monopod was he offered his trigger stick after 2 shots my mind was made up. The improved steadyness and accuracy is well worth the expense. It's easy to carry, quick to manuver, and rock solid when shooting stand up shots. I wouldn't suggest the tall stick for sit down or blind hunting. I would suggest you loc- tight the 4 leg retaining screws and the 2 holding the seperation plate between the legs as constant use will work them loose.
Cost is justified
