I must admit I was a bit skeptical about this windshield after reading about the problems the guys were having with stress cracks but the price was right so I ordered it anyway. After receiving the parts the problems they were having was quite obvious. Do not over tighten the brackets to the windshield. About 30 to 40 percent compression of the rubber grommets is all you need. Bend front brackets to match slope of the windshield. After all the brackets are attached to the windshield run the supplied hex nuts up the threaded portion of the brackets and tighten slightly. Position the windshield on the console so the threaded portions of the brackets are thru the holes you just drilled and the hex nuts are resting on top of the console. From underneath, thread on nylock hex nuts (not provided) The nylocks are a bit of a pain to install from underneath but well worth the effort. These suggestions will make more sense when you have all the components at hand. Good luck!
